~Prayer For Finances~

March 29, 2009 at 7:21 am (Prayer) (, , , )

Not only should we pray for our needs, but do you know others who can use some financial help. Pray should be the first resort not the last resort.
When you pray expect it to work. However remember God has his own time table and it is usually a lot different than our time table. Be patient and never give up on your walk with the Lord.

Prayer for Finances (it works)

I claimed it for you – now claim it for me.

God has more than a thousand ways to provide for us, that we know nothing about.
Here is your financial blessing!

It’s a simple prayer, you got 30 Seconds?

Don’t sleep on this…Someone recently read this for the first time and
Received exactly enough for a $0 balance on all credit cards.

If you need a financial blessing, continue reading this. You can also copy it and send it along in an email. That is how I got it.

Heavenly Father, most Gracious and Loving God, I pray to you that you
Abundantly bless my family and me.

I know that you recognize, that a Family is more than just a mother, father, sister, brother, cousin,
Husband and wife, but all who believe and trust in You.

Dear GOD, I send up a prayer request for financial blessing for not only the
Person who sent this to me, but for me and all that I have forwarded This message to.

And that the power of joined prayer by those who Believe and trust in you is
More powerful than anything!

I thank you in Advance for your blessings.

God, deliver the person reading this right Now from debt and debt burdens.

Release your Godly wisdom that I may be a good steward over all that you
have given me GOD, for I know how wonderful and mighty you are and how if we
just obey you and walk in your word and have the faith of a Mustard Seed that you will pour out blessings.

I thank you now Lord for the recent blessings I have received and for the blessings yet to come,
Because I know you are not done with me yet.

In Jesus name Amen….

TAKE 60 SECONDS and send this on quickly and within hours, you will have
Caused a multitude of people to pray to God for each other. Then sit
Back and watch the power of God work in your life for doing the thing That you
Know He loves.. Peace and Blessings….

My Visit To The Museum of Tolerance

March 15, 2009 at 3:01 pm (Random Rambles) (, , , , )

I have wanted to visit the Museum of Tolerance for several years and finally got to go with a group of students this past week. The Museum that I went to is in Los Angeles, CA. It is amazing that it was only 3 days after Bloggers United for Women’s Rights. Talk about a double wake up call, well this was certainly it.

One thing that I do not understand is how we can keep teaching hate. I guess it is born in us to pass the hate on from generation to generation. Are we born with hatred or does it have to be taught?

My trip to the Museum of Tolerance taught me that not one of us is without prejudice. We might think we are but when we reach deep into ourselves and are honest with ourselves we can find that for most of us there is something that would label us as being prejudiced.
Sometimes we think that there is nothing wrong with laughing at an ethnic joke. I might even have some on this blog.

As far as being prejudiced and humor go that is a difficult call. Most comedians use ethnic humor. Most people can laugh at themselves. However when humor turns to how we think people are our we use humor as a way to put people down or insult them, and we really mean it, then we really need to take a look at who we are.

Politicians use stereotypes and fear to reach their goals. The prime use of this was by Hitler. I am not sure what prompted him to hate the Jewish race, but that hatred almost eliminated an entire race of people. Everyone, no matter where they were born has something to contribute to the world.

Blacks in the USA have a history of abuse. The land of equality, freedom, and opportunity for all has still not torn down all the walls of hatred and bigotry. Even though we elected a black President, we are not where we should be with equality in the US.

I intend to post more on this topic in the near future.

I hope if anyone plans a trip to Los Angeles for any reason that you can take some time to include a trip to the Museum of Tolerance.

Museum of Tolerance
9786 West Pico Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90035

There are people in the world who are facing injustice each and every day. Innocent people who are being treated as criminals. We have to find ways to help them. Just by posting on blogs and getting readers is a start. We can reach out to the world to remove fear and hatred by understanding.

I still feel there is Faith and Hope and Love to share with the world.

One of Several Miracle Emails

December 28, 2008 at 8:45 pm (Random Rambles) (, , , )

We get a lot of these, but not everyone does. This is one worth posting. If you have not seen it, I hope you enjoy it.
“A little girl went
to her bedroom and pulled a glass jelly jar from its hiding place in the closet.

She poured the change out on the floor and counted it carefully. Three
times, even The total had to be exactly perfect. No chance here for mistakes.

Carefully placing the coins back in the jar and twisting on the cap, she
slipped out the back door and made her way 6 blocks to Rexall’s Drug Store with
the big red Indian Chief sign above the door.

She waited patiently for
the pharmacist to give her some attention, but he was too busy at this moment.
Tess twisted her feet to make a scuffing noise. Nothing. She cleared her throat
with the most disgusting sound she could muster. No good Finally she took a
quarter from her jar and banged it on the glass counter. That did it!

‘And what do you want?’ the pharmacist asked in an annoyed tone of
voice. I’m talking to my brother from Chicago whom I haven’t seen in ages,’ he
said without waiting for a reply to his question.

‘Well, I want to talk
to you about my brother,’ Tess answered back in the same annoyed tone. ‘He’s
really, really sick…and I want to buy a miracle.’

‘I beg your pardon?’
said the pharmacist.

‘His name is Andrew and he has something bad
growing inside his head and my Daddy says only a miracle can save him now So how
much does a miracle cost?’

‘We don’t sell miracles here, little girl.
I’m sorry but I can’t help you,’ the pharmacist said, softening a little.

‘Listen, I have the money to pay for it. If it isn’t enough, I will get
the rest. Just tell me ho w much it costs.’

The pharmacist’s brother was
a well dressed man He stooped down and asked the little girl, ‘What kind of a
miracle does your brother need?’

‘ I don’t know,’ Tess replied with her
eyes welling up. I just know he’s really sick and Mommy says he needs an
operation. But my Daddy can’t pay for it, so I want to use my money.’

‘How much do you have?’ asked the man from Chicago

‘One dollar
and eleven cents,’ Tess answered barely audibly.

‘And it’s all the money
I have, but I can get some more if I need to.’

‘Well, what a
coincidence,’ smiled the man. ‘A dollar and eleven cents—the exact price of a
miracle for little brothers. ‘

He took her money in one hand and with
the other hand he grasped her mitten and said ‘Take me to where you live. I want
to see your brother and meet your parents. Let’s see if I have the miracle you
need.’

That well dressed man was Dr.Carlton Armstrong, a surgeon,
specializing in neuro-surgery. The operation was completed free of charge and it
wasn’t long until Andrew was home again and doing well.

Mom and Dad were
happily talking about the chain of events that had led them to this place.

‘That surgery,’ her Mom whispered. ‘was a real miracle. I wonder how
much it would have cost?’

Tess smiled. She knew exactly how much a
miracle cost..one dollar and eleven cents….plus the faith of a little child.

In our lives, we never know how many miracles we will need.

A
miracle is not the suspension of natural law, but the operation of a higher law.
I know you’ll keep the ball moving!

Here it goes. Throw it back to
someone who means something to you!

A ball is a circle, no beginning, no
end. It keeps us together like our Circle of Friends. But the treasure inside
for you to see is the treasure of friendship you’ve granted to me.

Today
I pass the friendship ball to you.

Pass it on to someone who is a friend
to you.

MY OATH TO YOU…

When you are sad…..I will dry your
tears.

When you are scared…..I will comfort your fears.

When
you are worried…..I will give you hope.

When you are confused…..I
will help you cope.

And when you are lost…And can’t see the light, I
shall be your beacon….Shining ever so bright.

This is my oath…..I
pledge till the end.

Why you may ask?….Because you’re my friend.

Signed: GOD”

Are You Facing An Unwanted Change?

November 30, 2008 at 10:41 am (Motivation-Inspiration) (, , , , , , )

Revelations  3:8

When God leads you to the  edge of the cliff, trust Him fully and let go, only 1 of 2 things will happen,  either He’ll catch you when you fall, or He’ll teach you how to fly! ‘The  power of one sentence! God is going to shift things around for you today and  let things work in your favor. If you believe it! God closes doors no man can open & God opens doors no man can  close.   Have a blessed day and remember to be a blessing to others… You can NOT out give God.  Try it!

When you want to encourage someone you might send them this.  I am not sure if you have to send it to 10 people like the email I got suggested, but if you can remember this simple scripture, it can help you.  God is in Control.  Let him be the pilot of your life and you be the co-pilot.  Over time you will learn to recognize His voice.

Bryan Duncan Video

October 6, 2008 at 7:00 pm (Motivation-Inspiration) (, , , , , )

If you have ever seen him in concert you will never forget him.  Maybe Bryan Duncan is old school, but he sure got me through one of the worst years of my life with his music.  Now there is a YouTube video of the song I listened to so many times and I still never get tired of it.  I could wake up to this song every morning.  It is pure inspiration for each and every day.  Share this with someone going through a difficult time.

Let me know if you enjoy it.

The Start of One More Blog

April 19, 2008 at 5:22 am (Random Rambles) (, , , , , )

Today is the first day for another blog.  Why do I start so many?  I am really not sure.  Hopefully I can keep a theme running in this one of sharing Faith, Hope, and Love, through words of encouragement.  I get so many emails with words of encouragement in them.  Do you?  It is great to get them but then they get deleted or lost.  I am going to use this blog to archive them.

It is going to be fun to watch this blog grow.  I hope I will be faithful to it.  Time will tell.
